As a Piano Teacher:
I've been teaching the Piano for the past ten years. Nothing brings me greater joy than inspiring a student, no matter his or her age, to play this wonderful instrument, learn their favorite songs, and experience the wonderful satisfaction I experience everytime I sit behind those 88 keys.
My teaching style is this: I begin with instruction books so that my students can learn and grasp the fundamentals of music. I soon accompany this by writing arrangements of their favorite songs, and arrangements of songs that I feel will broaden their appreciation of music while introducing them to all styles of music.
I often suggest to my students that we compose a song together. Something they can claim as their own. We all deserve our own "Piano Man".
I teach at my students houses in Sudbury, MA on Wednesday and in Franklin, MA on Monday & Tuesday and Thursday through Saturday.
